Hyderabad Metro Station
Hyderabad Metro is a rapid transit system which serves Hyderabad. It is the 3rd longest metro network in India after Delhi and Bangalore Metro. It is the world's largest elevated Metro Rail based on DBFOT base - Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Transfer.
The Hyderabad Metro Station was initiated by the NDA government in the year 2003. To meet public transport needs and lessen growing road traffic, the MMTS was launched in 2005. The initial plan of the metro is to connect the metro with the existing MMTS. The metro came under the Central Metro Act, which allowed the revision of fares.
Phase I of the metro includes 3 lines. It will cover a distance of around 72 kilometres. It was partly opened on 29 Nov 2017, and the full phase 1 was completed in 2020.

Red Line - LB Nagar to Miyapur - 29 km with 27 stations - Line 2
Green Line – JBS to Falaknuma - 15 km with 15 stations - Line 3
Blue Line – Nagole to Raidurg - 28 km with 24 stations
The work was undertaken in two phases. There are 6 stages of completion in Phase I. All the details of the stations are shown in the Hyderabad Metro map.

The current fare ranges from Rs. 10 to a maximum of Rs. 60. It is an average cost of Rs. 2.30 per km for long journeys. Official ticket prices were declared on 25 November 2017. The base fare is Rs. 10 for up to 2 km. The fare varies with distance as follows,
