Prestige Group Expands Malls In Delhi Ncr And Mumbai

Prestige Group is constructing a mall in Mulund, Mumbai, over 2 lakh sq ft. The mall will feature more than 25 restaurants and will be dominated by the food segment.

A new mall is also being built in Delhi-NCR's Indirapuram and is currently awaiting RERA approval. This mall will span over 1 million sq ft and is part of the Prestige City township in Indirapuram.

Bangalore-based real estate developer Prestige Group is expanding its retail portfolio, with over 8 million sq ft of malls under construction across various cities in India including Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Hyderabad.

• A large mall in Indirapuram
• A 1 million sq ft luxury mall in Mumbai's prime area
• 3 new malls to be launched in Hyderabad
• A 6 lakh sq ft mall in Goa focused on food and entertainment
• A 1 million sq ft mall in Sarjapur, Bengaluru
• A mall project in Whitefield, Bengaluru
• An athleisure-themed mall in North Bangalore spread across 8 lakh sq ft
• A 1 million sq ft mall on Chennai’s Old Mahabalipuram Road

All these malls under construction are expected to be operational between 2028 and 2029. Most of these retail developments are part of integrated townships or hotel properties, enhancing their value and functionality.

The North Bangalore athleisure mall will be a landmark retail destination featuring:

• 3 lakh sq ft dedicated to sportswear
• 2.5 lakh sq ft of food outlets
• 2.5 lakh sq ft of gaming experiences

It will bring together all premium sports brands under one roof for the first time, creating a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.

To maximize Floor Space Index (FSI), Prestige Group is focusing on vertical developments. However, understanding that malls with more than five floors often fail to attract consistent footfall, the company is strategically designing its retail spaces to optimize visitor traffic flow.

These integrated developments aim to create a holistic ecosystem for shopping, dining, and entertainment, delivering a premium retail experience across major Indian cities.
