Prestige Group Is Intensifying Its Mall Portfolio With New Properties In Delhi-Ncr And Mumbai

Prestige Group is constructing a mall in Mulund in Mumbai over 2 lakh sq ft. The mall will have more than 25 restaurants, and it will be dominated by the food segment. A new mall is built in Delhi-NCR's Indirapuram and it is awaiting the RERA approval. The mall in Delhi will be over 1 million sq ft, and it is a part of the Prestige City township in Indirapuram.

Bangalore based real estate developer Prestige Group has plans to expand their retail portfolio. There are over 8 million sq ft of malls that are under construction in various cities of India including Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Hyderabad.

• An athleisure mall is upcoming in north Bangalore over an area of 8 lakh sq ft
• A mall of 1 million sq ft mall is developed in Chennai’s Old Mahabalipuram Road.

All these malls under construction will be operational by 2028 to 2029. Most of the malls in the pipeline are either part of an integrated township or hotel property.

The mall in north Bangalore will be dominated by athleisure. It will have 3 lakh sq ft of sportswear. It will have accessories from all the top sports brands. It will include 2.5 lakh sq ft of food. There will be 2.5 lakh sq ft of gaming experience. All premium sports brands will be under one roof for the first time with the mall.

To maximise the floor space index, Prestige Group is building a lot of vertical developments. However, malls with more than 5 floors do not attract traffic, so they are building malls based on visitor traffic. All these integrated developments will provide additional benefits and it will create an ecosystem to shop.
