Kasu Brahmanandha Reddy National Park (Kbr)

Kasu Brahmanandha Reddy National Park, also known as KBR, is a national park located in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. The park is over an area of 390 acres. It was stated as a national park in the year 1998.

KBR was a palace complex that was given to Prince Mukarram Jah by his father in 1967. The whole palace complex was declared a national park by the government. It gave control of the major part of the area to the forest department. The Nizam was left with control over an area of 11 acres. Then, Nizam's control was reduced to less than six acres. Then, the park was renamed Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park. The palace building was known as Chiran Palace.
